Part of practicing Tae Kwon Do is to respect your parents. It is important not to forget how much support our parents give us. Parents work every day to make your life good. They support you to do the things you love and provide the things you need. Think about this the next time your parents come home from work and they are tired. Maybe you can make their day a little easier by helping out with the chores. Your parents will appreciate it and probably treat you more like an adult because of it. As a student of Tae Kwon Do, you can set the example for friends and siblings through your behavior. Showing respect to your parents will make everyone happier in the long run including yourself. Next time your parents tell you no you must trust that they have a very good reason for this. It is because they love you. Appreciate that love. Cherish it and respect it. Everything they do, they do for you.
So with a very special day coming up (Mother's Day), think about how you show respect.
